Farizon Unveils Eco-Engineered SV Van Built for a Greener Future
Electric commercial vehicle manufacturer Farizon has unveiled its new born-electric SV large van, representing a major step towards sustainable, circular production in the commercial vehicle sector.
Distributed in the UK by Jameel Motors UK, the all-electric SV integrates low-carbon manufacturing with recyclable materials and renewable energy use, aiming to be one of the most environmentally responsible vans in its class.
Farizon’s flagship facility in Xiangtan, China, operates on 100% renewable energy, with on-site solar and wind generation supplying over 40% of its needs. The plant also features a closed-loop water recycling system, reducing freshwater use by 75%, and AI-driven logistics that cut ancillary emissions by 30%.
Sustainability is built into every stage of production:
· 10% of materials used in the SV are recycled,
· 85% can be recycled at end-of-life, and
· 95% are recoverable.
Lightweight design using high-strength steel and hybrid aluminium-steel reduces vehicle weight by 8%, improving range and efficiency. Over 60% of components are sourced locally to minimise transport emissions, while interiors feature ocean-recycled plastics and organic fabrics, halving virgin material use.

Farizon’s production model aligns with EU Green Deal objectives, introducing Green Partner Certification for suppliers and battery regeneration for solar energy use. As the company expands across the UK and Europe, its carbon-neutral approach sets a new benchmark for sustainable van manufacturing.
